Plus the Directors from the eight [8] ANKC Ltd Member Bodies. The Directors are usually the Member Body's President and where applicable a Vice President or a Committee Member.

The Board meets once a year - the third weekend of October.

 

There is a maximum of eleven [11] Directors of the ANKC Ltd made up of Two [2] Directors for Member Bodies representing in excess of 10% of the total membership of the Member Bodies [DOGS QUEENSLAND, DOGS NSW and DOGS VICTORIA] and one [1] Director for each Member Body representing 10% or less of the total membership [DOGS ACT, DOGS WEST, DOGS NT, DOGS SA and DOGS TASMANIA].  Each Director has one [1] vote on all matters before the Board.

ANKC Ltd Committees

There are a number of Committees working under the ANKC Ltd. These Committees usually meet on an annual basis or by confer link if required more frequently.

There is a Charter for each ANKC Ltd Committee that the Committee is required to work within. The voting for Committees is the same as for Directors when there is a representative from each ANKC Ltd Member Body present; otherwise it is one vote per person attending the meeting.

ANKC Ltd Working Parties

The Working Parties manage a considerable amount of the day-to-day work that occurs between meetings that is not dealt with by the Administrator. The majority of this work is completed via facsimile, telephone confer link or email.
