The Australian National Kennel Council Limited and its Member Bodies support the laws, both State and Federal, that apply to the ownership of animals. However, they retain their right to lobby and argue for such changes and alterations, as they see fit, to ensure that such laws are reasonable and protect the interests of their members.

We expect our members to be fully conversant with their responsibilities and liabilities under all legislation relating to the ownership of dogs and to comply with such legislation at all times.
